юр. архипелажные воды (воды, разделяющие и окружающие группы островов, составляющие единое географическое и политическое целое и подпадающие под суверенитет какого-л. одного государства; понятие архипелажных вод было сформировано в ходе работы Третьей конференции ООН по морскому праву; правой режим архипелажных вод определен Конвенцией ООН по морскому праву; согласно Конвенции суверенитет государств-архипелагов распространяется на омывающие их территории воды, воздушное пространство над ними, их дно и недра, а также весь комплекс имеющихся там живых и неживых природных ресурсов; иностранные суда имеют право мирного прохода через архипелажные воды, аналогично праву прохода через территориальные воды; кроме этого, иностранные суда наделяются правом прохода по морским коридорам, устанавливаемым государствами-архипелагами как в архипелажных водах, так и в прилегающих к ним территориальных водах)See: -
